Miko517, known offstage as Michael Young, is an independent artist and founder of TheREDDFactory. Raised on the East Side of Memphis, Tennessee, his sound is rooted in the pain, pressure, and soul of the city. Moving between neighborhoods gave him a raw, unfiltered perspective on life—and that energy bleeds into every verse he writes.
In 2016, he relocated to Houston, Texas at 15, bringing Memphis with him. Since then, he’s been leveling up his craft—through music, visuals, and design—with a clear vision: build something real from the ground up. Through the highs and lows, losses and lessons, Miko stays 10 toes down, never switching up, always keeping it REDD.
In 2023, he founded TheREDDFactory—a creative platform built for artists who come from the bottom and refuse to fold. REDD stands for Revolution, Emotion, Discipline, and Drive. It’s more than a label—it’s a mission. A place where real artists get support, visibility, and space to turn their pain into power.
